So I've been going to conventions, more specifically Anime North every year for about 6 years now. Usually I stick with Sango from Inuyasha. As of Anime North 2011 I have made a new costume: Yuuki Kurosu (Yuki Cross) from Vampire Knight, her vampire form.
I would like to point out that all of my costumes are made by myself; nothing has been ordered off of the internet and no costumes have been bought at a store. This includes props like my Kirara plushie which is hand-made, I just bought the pattern (for those interested in making one, I should still have the fabric pattern lying about and can give you the name to look for at a place like Fabric Land).
This year (2011) was my first time going to the Toronto Cosplay Picnic; I met a wonderful Kaname (TraumaCentreGrrl) and Zero (mattys-mello) there. Since they took the photos they'll have them posted in their galleries.
